These Service Credit Terms govern the purchase and use of KYREN Service Credits.
By purchasing or using KYREN Service Credits, you agree to these terms together with the KYREN Terms of Service and Refund Policy.
1. Nature of Service Credits
KYREN Service Credits are prepaid service credits issued by KYREN for the purchase and use of services provided through the KYREN platform.
Service Credits:
- may only be used for services provided by KYREN;
- are not transferable between users or accounts unless expressly permitted by KYREN;
- cannot be used to purchase goods or services from third parties;
- do not constitute a bank account, deposit account, payment account, cryptocurrency or payment instrument; and
- do not accrue interest or represent an investment or ownership interest.
Service Credits represent a contractual right to consume eligible KYREN services and are not funds held on behalf of the user.
2. Purchasing Service Credits
Service Credits may be purchased using payment methods made available by KYREN from time to time.
The amount of Service Credits credited to an account will be displayed at the time of purchase or in the relevant billing interface.
A purchase is complete once payment has been successfully processed and the corresponding Service Credits have been credited to the user's KYREN account.
3. Use of Service Credits
Service Credits may be applied automatically against eligible usage of KYREN services, including model API access and other usage-based services.
Applicable pricing is determined by the pricing displayed or otherwise communicated by KYREN for the relevant service at the time of use.
Usage may be measured according to factors such as model usage, input and output tokens, requests, media generation, processing volume, service duration, or other applicable usage metrics.
4. Refunds
Refunds of Service Credit purchases are governed by the KYREN Refund Policy.
Subject to that policy, unused Service Credits may be eligible for refund within the applicable refund period.
Except through an eligible refund, Service Credits cannot be redeemed or withdrawn for cash.
Service Credits that have already been consumed through delivered services are non-refundable except where required by applicable law or where KYREN determines that a billing or service error has occurred.
5. Billing and Usage Records
KYREN maintains internal records of Service Credit purchases, usage and remaining balances.
In the event of a discrepancy, users should contact KYREN promptly so that the relevant records can be reviewed.
KYREN may correct a Service Credit balance where necessary to address billing errors, duplicate credits, reversed payments, refunds, chargebacks or other account adjustments.
6. Payment Reversals and Chargebacks
If a payment used to purchase Service Credits is reversed, refunded, disputed or charged back, KYREN may deduct the corresponding Service Credits from the user's account.
If some or all of those Service Credits have already been consumed, the account may show an outstanding balance. KYREN may suspend further service until the outstanding amount has been resolved.
7. Account Suspension or Termination
KYREN may suspend the use of Service Credits where reasonably necessary to investigate fraud, abuse, payment disputes, security issues or violations of the KYREN Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy.
The treatment of unused Service Credits following account suspension or termination will be determined in accordance with the Refund Policy, Terms of Service and applicable law.
8. Changes to Service Credits
KYREN may update the operation, denomination, pricing mechanics or technical implementation of Service Credits from time to time.
Any material change affecting already purchased Service Credits will be handled reasonably and in accordance with applicable law.
